I am trying to update all my domains to dnssec. The .net, .com, and .org domains are going well but my .us domain is balking. When I try to add a record I am asked for the usual entries (Key Tag, Algorithm, Digest Type, and Digest) but it also wants a fifth entry called a "Key Data Algorithm". I've tried of all the 10 options in the drop down but none of them seems to work.
Anyone know how I can determine what number to choose?
Hi @jscarville. Thanks for being part of GoDaddy Community! I did a little digging and found this post about the same issue. Hope it helps.
Thank you for your help.
This did not solve the problem. The suggestion is to use the same number as the Algorithm field. This does not work though the system returns that "[a]n unexpected error occurred" rather than failing silently.
Do the .US domains have different requirements than .COM, .NET, or .ORG domains?
