Migrating hostdone domain and website to godaddy

Hello,

 

I currently have 2 domain names and websites currently registered to and hosted on hostdone to godaddy with as little downtime as possible. How can i do that?

My suggestion would be to

1) Add the domains as off site DNS  (Hosted DNS) on GoDaddy and mirror your DNS settings - I would put all the TTLs to Custom / 600 which is 10 minutes

2) Then you can update the DNS with HostDone and point them to GoDaddy

3) I would then purchase domain transfers at GoDaddy to move the domain registrations

4) I would then purchase hosting and copy the files over

5) I would then update the DNS to point to the new server

 

Doing this way you should see no down time
