Can anyone receive email from GMAIL when using email on a GoDaddy hosting plan???

Here is the problem...

I am using the GoDaddy Ultimate Cpanel hosting plan.

I host several different websites with different domains on my account.,

For each domain, I setup email addresses such as or

It was recently brought to my attention that any that sends me email from a GMAIL account, gets the error message in a bounce back...

"The recipient server did not accept our requests to connect. Learn more at
[ unable to read banner]"

I can successfully send OUTGOING email to GMAIL, but apparently anyone using GMAIL can not send me email. I have tested with multiple other email servers and hosts and everyone's email seems to work for both OUTGOING and INCOMING email, except GMAIL.

Is anyone else having this issue? Please test it your self on your account and see if you can receive an email from GMAIL.

ALSO, is there no way to EMAIL GoDaddy to report issues??? I do not have hours and hours and of free time to spend on the phone or in live chat to get this resolved. I have already spent three days and four hours with GoDaddy support with no fix or repairs made yet. This does not make any sense to me. Why would GMAIL not be able to send an email to any of my email addresses hosted with GoDaddy?

HI Scarpace,

Your questin caught my interest so I started doing some google searching to see what could be the cause. Seems the error is related to the ads in the banner from Gmail I believe. I couldn't find many example of this error but I did find one from the Google forums where a Google help expert also chimed in.  I've listed the link to the forum below. I hope this helps you move forward.

Best Wishes!

I am getting the same error sporadically for almost week now. I called GoDaddy on Friday and their tech told me their email is not reliable and not meant for anything more than casual use. They wanted me to pay to upgrade to Office 365. I need a solution to this problem and I might have to switch hosts if I can't get it resolved soon.

We have a simple email set up using Control Panel, but when I send an email to a recipient on the GoDaddy server from my Gmail account it sometimes rejects it. Google sends me back this response...basically it is unable to read the banner (?). Once we get this message, the email never gets received:
