I purchased a domain at GoDaddy but changed the nameservers to be able to have hosting at Bluehost. I need to create an email address and I have a Personal Email Plan in GoDaddy. When I tried to set up a new email account I received an error message says MX records show the domain is hosted elsewhere and can't set it up. Question. Am I able to create an email account for the domain even though it is hosted at Bluehost?

Yes, you'll need to delete the default MX records and add the appropriate DNS records for the service you're using.
