Remote Email Account

Using Workspace Webmail you can set up  a remote Email account (Personal Settings > Remote Email Accounts) which gives you an option to receive mail from another account into your account and it gives you an option to do that automatically but when selecting that option it seems not to do anything. I had a very long chat with Support but I had a feeling that they had no idea what I was talking about so if somebody from this community has some knowledge about this area and is willing to share that I would really appreciate that.
