File operations using PHP fail

I'm attempting to create a PHP page that allows a visitor to upload an image file. PHP is working on my site but any code that tries to rename, copy, move or upload a file fails. No error message is given--it just doesn't work. I suspect a permissions issue but I don't know how to resolve that. My hosting plan is Windows Plesk Ultimate Shared Hosting. Help would be greatly appreciated!

I am sorry you are experiencing this issue with using PHP in Plesk.

You can setup PHP error logging by following the step-by-step instructions in the GoDaddy Guide linked. To further assist, I would reach out to GoDaddy Support.
