GoDaddy supports only obsolete versions of the .NET Core framework: up to version 2.0.
.NET CORE version 3 has been available for more than one year. The latest version is 5.0.
All versions below 2.1 are obsolete. Microsoft ended support for 2.0 more than one year ago.
Has GoDaddy decided against hosting modern web applications built to include the Microsoft framework?
When can we expect GoDaddy to support valid versions of .NET Core?
I would also like to know when this will be available. As of now, this limitation prevents customers from using a large variety of features (such as Blazor) and introduces a variety of security issues.
I too would like to know the answer to this simple question.
Hearing none - let me suggest that GoDaddy is not a good hosting site for anything related to .Net.
I've gone back to ancient versions like 4.7.2 of plain old .Net. Not too much fun.
Come to think of it, very little has been fun hosting ASP MVC web sites on GoDaddy. Remote database access? Sure - we can do that but - sorry - not with https.
