    MIgrating from Joomla to Wordpress

    Hi all, I am planning on migrating my current website from Joomla to wordpress, just wondering the best way to do this. I have joomla installed in the root, on linux server. I would assume best to move all joomla related folders into a temp holding folder in order to install wordpress the same way? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Hi @chevywidow, I've never tried this type of migration myself, but I did manage to locate a plugin that claims to do the heavy lifting for you.  You can find it here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/cms2cms-joomla-to-wp-migration/.  Good luck!
