Account has MX error

my IT guy emailed me and said my godaddy site has MX error, what do I do plus he stated that he changed the email setting in the website to directly sent it to gmail email account but still the email is not received. Any help for this?

Hi,

What you need to do is first determine where you have your email hosted. If you have Gsuite from Google for example, you need to verify your MX records within your "Zone File" to be pointed towards GSuite's MX records. This is located in your GoDaddy account when you manage into your domain from the "My Account" area. If you have a different email provider or you workspace or Office 365 with GoDaddy the MX records are usually handled by their DNS system.
