PHP 8 Availability

When PHP 8 will be available in shared linux web hosting. I am eagerly waiting for that.

In a quick google for this  - it will probably be some time before PHP8 is available in Shared Hosting - 

 

In looking at the cPanel documentation (from March 24, 2021) so very current - PHP 8 requires CentOS 7 - Many shared hosting servers (I think GoDaddy included) are still running CentOS 6 so it maybe a while before the underlying hardware is updated / migrated. If this is a must have I suggest looking at a VPS server where you have more control over the environment.
