Outlook 2007, 2010 and 2013 end of support

Starting November 1, 2021, Microsoft 365 services are no longer supported in some versions of Outlook for Windows. The following versions of Outlook are no longer supported:

  • Outlook 2007
  • Outlook 2010 (phase out begins January, 2022)
  • Outlook 2013 (versions prior to 15.0.4971.1000; all versions will be phased out by April 2023)
  • Outlook 2016 (versions prior to 16.0.4600.1000)

If you're currently using Microsoft 365 email in these versions, update to the latest version to continue using Outlook on your Windows desktop. Not sure what version you have? Find your version of Outlook.

Get the latest version of Outlook

If you have Microsoft 365 Business Professional, your subscription includes Microsoft Office. To download the latest version of Office and continue using Outlook, follow these instructions.

If you have a version of Microsoft 365 that doesn’t include desktop versions of Office, upgrade your plan type by following these instructions. Business Professional or greater plans include downloadable Office apps with Outlook.

As another option, check your email using Outlook on the web, Microsoft's web-based email. Sign in to Outlook on the web.
