Linux Hosting (cPanel) Help

Change a secondary domain's root folder in Linux Hosting

If you added a secondary domain name to your Linux Hosting account, you can change its root folder at any time.

  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page.
  2. Under Web Hosting, next to the Linux Hosting account you want to use, select Manage.
    select manage
  3. In the account Dashboard, select cPanel Admin.
  4. In the cPanel home page, select Domains and then select Addon Domains.
  5. Under Modify Addon Domain, next to the domain you want to change, select the pencil.
  6. Enter a new document root, starting at your home directory, and then select Change. The secondary domain name now displays the index file you uploaded to that folder.
