Linux Hosting (cPanel) Help

Create a MySQL database in my Linux Hosting

You can create MySQL databases in your Linux Hosting account by using cPanel's MySQL Database Wizard.

  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page.
  2. Under Web Hosting, next to the Linux Hosting account you want to use, select Manage.
    select manage
  3. In the account Dashboard, select cPanel Admin.
  4. In the cPanel Home page, in the Databases section, select MySQL Database Wizard.
  5. Follow the prompts in the Wizard to set up the new database. For help, see the MySQL Database Wizard documentation.
  6. Note: Your database name must be unique in our system. If you get a 'database already exists' error message, you need to choose a new database name.
