Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy Help

Send encrypted messages with Advanced Email Security

With Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy, all messages in your organization are automatically encrypted, and you don't need to do anything differently. However, when sending to recipients outside of your organization, you need to take an extra step to encrypt messages. That's where the Advanced Email Security add-on comes in.

Required: This article is for Advanced Email Security from Proofpoint. You can verify that you have Proofpoint by signing in and checking if there's a white header with "GoDaddy" displayed at the top of your dashboard. See how to encrypt email with Advanced Email Security powered by INKY.

Once your Advanced Email Security account is set up, you automatically have a filter to send encrypted email by including [Encrypt] in the subject line. You only need to do this if you're sending to an external recipient (like to a customer) with an email address not on your organization's domain.
Encrypt in email subject line

Your recipient will receive an email with instructions on how to sign in to Advanced Email Security to view and respond to the encrypted message. This email is available for 14 days, and can't be saved locally by the recipient.
